Let’s Make Florida DeSantis-Free
Ron Be Gone’s Weekly Scoop | March 22, 2022
Welcome back to RBG’s Weekly Scoop, giving you the inside scoop on everything pertaining to the 2022 Gubernatorial Race and, most importantly, our efforts to oust Ron DeSantis from the Florida Governor’s mansion.
The Democrats vs. Ron
Ron DeSantis continues to pour money into his online ad campaign for Governor, breaking $185,000 spent over the past 90 days on Google and Facebook. This is not surprising considering the $70M war chest he has built in his run to remain Governor of Florida.
Meanwhile, the Democrats are struggling to compete at a spend of $57,306 combined over the past 90 days.
DeSantis’ latest Google ads focus on fundraising, echoing his catchphrase “Keep Florida Free”. You can watch the ad on Youtube here.
Charlie Crist is continuing to run Spanish-language news ads to voters through his “La Colada del Dia” page on Facebook. While the spend behind these ads isn’t much ($3,877 over the past 90 days), they are getting their fair share of impressions.
Nikki Fried is continuing to spend on Facebook, recently releasing two new video ads. While Fried’s spend is only $13K to Crist’s $35K spend on the platform, she is also getting her fair share of impressions.
